Sudani receives official invitation to attend emergency summit on Gaza

BAGHDAD, October 17 — Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed today that he has received an official invitation from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to participate in an emergency summit in Cairo. The summit will bring together a group of Arab and regional leaders to discuss the dire situation in Gaza and the attacks on the Palestinian people.

A statement from Al-Sudani’s office, received by Network 964, read:

“Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani has received an official invitation from the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to participate in an emergency summit to be held in Cairo. The summit will include a group of Arab and regional leaders and aims to discuss the critical situation in the Gaza Strip and the ongoing attacks on the Palestinian people.”
