Father and son killed in a collision in Duhok

DUHOK — A father and son lost their lives Sunday evening in a tragic collision on the Rovia–Jama Road in Bardarash, Duhok Governorate, according to local traffic officials.

Azad Taha, a spokesperson for the Duhok traffic police, told 964media the crash happened around 4:20 p.m. He did not provide details on what caused the accident.

Fatal road accidents remain a serious concern in the region. On March 15, a three-year-old child was struck by a vehicle in the Bshirian community of Bardarash district and died at the scene.
