65-year-old man dies after fall from rooftop

DUHOK — A 65‑year‑old man lost his life Wednesday after falling from a rooftop in Duhok city, medical officials reported.

A source at Azadi Hospital’s emergency unit told 964media that the incident occurred at midday when the man, identified as Hussein Ahmad, was brought in following a fall from a rooftop. Despite prompt medical intervention, he succumbed to his injuries several hours later.

Authorities have transferred his body to the forensic department for further examination before it is released to his family. The circumstances surrounding his fall remain unclear.
