Iraqi PM Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani to visit the United Kingdom
NEWSROOM — Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani is set to visit the United Kingdom on Monday, where he is set to meet with officials and business leaders to discuss economic cooperation, investment opportunities, and security partnerships, according to a statement from his office.
The visit will include high-profile engagements, such as meetings with King Charles III and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Sudani will also meet with representatives from the private sector.

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani begins an official visit to the United Kingdom this afternoon, Monday, in response to an official invitation from the British Prime Minister.
During the visit, he will hold a series of meetings, including His Majesty King Charles III and a meeting with Prime Minister Keir Starmer, as well as discussions with senior British government officials. The visit will also include meetings with representatives of companies and business sectors, alongside seminars and dialogues with specialized research centers.
This visit aims to enhance cooperation between Iraq and the United Kingdom, with the agenda including the signing of agreements and memorandums of understanding in various fields, particularly in economic, investment, and security sectors.
Prime Minister Al-Sudani is accompanied by a high-level delegation, comprising ministers, members of parliament, the Governor of Basra, advisors, representatives from the private sector, and business leaders and industrialists from various economic sectors.
