Sudani discusses Palestinian developments with Egyptian president Sisi

BAGHDAD, October 8 — Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani discussed developments in the Palestinian territories in a phone call with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Saturday.

A statement from Al-Sudani’s office, received by Network 964, said:

“Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani discussed the developments in the Palestinian territories in a phone call with Egyptian President Mr. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Saturday evening.

During the call, they emphasized the importance of the unity of the Arab and Islamic stance regarding what the Palestinian people are facing, defending their sanctities, security, and legitimate rights that have been violated by the Zionist occupation forces.

They also stressed the urgent need to prevent further violence, the dangerous effects of which will impact the region. They called on the international community to play its role in stopping racist policies and preserving the Palestinian people’s right to a dignified life on their land.”
