Iraq Central Bank reports over $271 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Monday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $271 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per $1.
Total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $21,750,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $250,187,922, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $271,937,922.
