Iraq Central Bank reports over $274 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Sunday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $274 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per 1 U.S. dollar.
Total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $17,350,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $257,110,407, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $274,460,407.
