Iraq Central Bank reports over $269 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Thursday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $269 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 IQD per 1 U.S. dollar.
Total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $13,550,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $255,856,273, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $269,406,273.
