Iraq Central Bank reports over $284 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Thursday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $284 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 dinars per $1.
According to the bank’s data, total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $14,050,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $270,439,187. The overall sales totaled $284,489,187.
