Two injured
One dead in Duhok city center traffic collision
DUHOK — A fatal traffic collision occurred Wednesday morning in the center of Duhok, resulting in one death and two injuries.
The incident took place at 5:33 a.m. on the main road near the Duhok Customs Directorate when two vehicles collided.
Authorities reported that a man in his 40s died as a result of the collision. Two other Duhok residents sustained injuries in the accident.
Security forces arrived at the scene promptly and extracted the injured parties from the wreckage, according to a source within Duhok’s security forces.
The deceased, who was driving a Nissan, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The injured are currently receiving treatment at Azadi Hospital.
