Iraq’s central bank reports over $278 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Tuesday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, amounting more than $278 million at the official exchange rate set at 1,310 IQD per USD.
According to the bank’s data, total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $ 23,320,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $ 255,513,388. The overall sales totaled $ 278,833,388.
