Iraq’s central bank reports over $283 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD— The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Tuesday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, amounting to over $283 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 IQD per USD.
According to data from the bank, the total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $21,080,000. Meanwhile, the total amount for foreign transfers, including remittances and credits, reached $261,993,871. This brought the overall sales total to $283,073,871.
