Benefiting civilian aviation
Iraq narrows airspace available to military aircraft
BAGHDAD – Iraq’s Ministry of Transportation has restricted the airspace available for military use to enhance conditions for civilian aviation. This decision, announced on Tuesday, aims to increase the designated airspace for civilian aircraft, allowing for greater flight flexibility and capacity.
The Ministry stated that the change came after extensive efforts by Iraqi aviation companies and the Ministry itself.
Aviation companies in Iraq have welcomed the move, anticipating increased airspace availability and improved conditions for civilian flights.
