Annual tradition

Teacher offers free math review for Anbar students

ANBAR – Shujaa Hamed, a mathematics teacher, has continued his annual tradition of offering a free, comprehensive review course for ninth-grade school students in the Al-Baghdadi district of western Anbar. The course, aimed at preparing students for their upcoming final exams, receives strong support from school administrations, which provide classrooms for the sessions.

This year’s course is held at Al-Tasamuh Secondary School for Girls in the city center, with 150 students participating.

Shujaa Hamed told 964media: “Every year, I conduct a thorough review of mathematics to prepare them well for the final exams. The review focuses on difficult lessons and provides summaries of the most important questions.”

“The school administrations in the Al-Baghdadi center have been very cooperative, helping to secure and book classrooms to accommodate the 150 male and female participants.”

“In each session, I review and solve past exam questions in front of the students to build a comprehensive understanding of the solution patterns, ensuring they do not experience confusion during the exam.”

“After each lecture, I conduct oral tests, in addition to a comprehensive written test covering the entire curriculum at the end of the course,” he added.

Ammar Ahmed, a student, expressed to 964media, “We appreciate the initiative and thank Mr. Shujaa for the math review. Students often face difficulties in understanding the material, and my friends and I have traveled long distances to attend and benefit from this course.”
