Iraq’s central bank reports dollar sales exceeding $274 Million
Baghdad– The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Sunday its foreign currency sales in on-day transactions, totaling over $274 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 dinars per U.S. dollar.
The breakdown of the bank’s sales indicates that a total of $20,376,996 was allocated for internal cash withdrawals. The bulk of the transactions, amounting to $253,903,802, were directed towards external transfers, including remittances and credits. The total sales for the day reached $274,280,798.
