Iraq’s central bank reports dollar sales exceeding $275 Million
BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced on Wednesday that it had sold over $275 million in foreign currency in one-day transactions at the official exchange rate of 1310 dinars per U.S. dollar.
According to the bank’s data, the total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $13,480,000. Meanwhile, the total for international transfers, including remittances and credits, reached $262,059,423. The total sales for the day summed up to $275,539,423.
