Iraqi central bank announces dollar sales over $283 million
BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced its sales of U.S. dollars on Monday totaled more than $283 million in one-day transactions at the official exchange rate of 1,310 dinars per dollar.
According to the bank’s data, total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $15.68 million, while total amounts for external transfers, including remittances and credits, were over $267.94 million. Total sales reached over $283.62 million.
