“Talents House” in Al-Adamiyah prepares students for the new school year
BAGHDAD, September 3 — On a modest budget, “Talents House” in Al-Adamiyah, Baghdad, is providing students with a platform to prepare for the upcoming school year through sports activities, entertainment, and academic reinforcement.
The project aims to engage children and teenagers aged 5 to 15 by offering a fun, sporty, and educational environment, psychologically and academically preparing them for the start of the new school year.
Essam Mohammed, the founder of “Talents House,” explained:
“During the summer holidays, most children are used to spending their time playing in the streets. They often lose interest in studying. That’s why we provide them with training materials, activities, and sports, from swimming to football, in addition to academic reinforcement.”
“The organization charges a nominal fee from parents because the project lacks financial support. These fees are used to pay the salaries of teachers and the training staff.”
Ahmed Khaled, a student, said:
“I passed to the second year of intermediate school and enrolled in ‘Talents House’ because it offers almost everything, from academic reinforcement to entertainment activities. In ‘Talents House,’ I learned swimming and football, and I am now ready for the new school year.”
