Iraqi Central Bank announces over $195 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD, August 30 — The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Wednesday its sales of foreign currency, reaching over $195 million in the day’s transactions.

Bank data revealed that the total cash sales within the country amounted to $39,180,000 million, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $156,191,636 million. The overall total sales reached $195,371,636 million.
