Iraqi central bank reports foreign currency sales over $254 million

BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced its foreign currency sales on Wednesday reached over $254 million in one-day transactions at the official rate of 1,310 per $100 USD.

According to bank data, total cash withdrawals amounted to $23.32 million. Meanwhile, total overseas transfers, including remittances and credits, stood at over $231.15 million. Total sales reached more than $254.47 million.
