Rawanduz residents struggle with poor internet connectivity

RAWANDUZ — Residents of Rawanduz district are facing challenges due to poor internet connectivity, prompting urgent calls for resolution.

Kayfi Mohammed, a local from Rawanduz, expressed his frustrations to 964media, highlighting the severity of the situation: “The internet connection is so poor that we can’t work, can’t use it in our homes, or even to make a phone call. We urgently request a solution.”

The Directorate of Transportation and Communications in Soran is aware of the problem, according to its director, Barzan Mir Ali. Ali told 964media that an investigation is underway.

“We are addressing the internet issues in Rawanduz by forming a committee to identify and resolve the root cause,” he said.

Rawanduz is home to over 25,000 residents across 47 villages and its district center.
