Iraqi central bank reports over $207 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced on Monday that foreign currency sales exceeded $207 million in one-day transactions, based on the official rate of 1,310 dinars per U.S. dollar.

Bank data revealed that total cash withdrawals amounted to $23.4 million, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached nearly $183.7 million. Total sales for the day stood at $207.1 million.
