Iraqi ministry of oil announces January export and revenue figures
BAGHDAD — The Ministry of Oil released preliminary figures on Friday for crude oil exports and the revenues generated in January. In a statement, the ministry detailed the outcomes based on initial statistics from the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO)
The total crude oil exports for January amounted to 103 million, 508 thousand, and 438 barrels, generating revenues of approximately $8 billion, 25 million, and 616 thousand.
The data highlights the export quantities from central and southern Iraqi oil fields reached 102 million and 25 thousand barrels. Meanwhile, exports to Jordan accounted for 464 thousand and 306 barrels, with exports from the Qayyarah field amounting to 1 million, 19 thousand, and 132 barrels.
The daily export rate was identified as 3 million, 338 thousand, and 982 barrels, with the average price per barrel standing at $77.536.
The ministry also stated at the statement will be a monthly one because of its belief to keep the people aware of export and revenue figures.
