Iraq’s central bank announces foreign currency sales surpassing $215 million
BAGHDAD, February 1 – The Central Bank of Iraq disclosed on Thursday its foreign currency sales, reporting transactions exceeding $215 million for the day, based on the official exchange rate of 1310.
The bank’s data revealed that total cash withdrawals amounted to $5,620,000. Meanwhile, the total amounts transferred abroad, encompassing remittances and credits, reached $209,870,165. Consequently, the total sales for the day amounted to $215,490,165.
