Erbil Traffic Directorate announces new vehicle inspection center in Shekhan
ERBIL, August 12 — Erbil’s Traffic Directorate announced on Thursday it would open a new vehicle inspection and testing center in Shekhan district as authorities aim to alleviate congestion in the city’s central inspection centers.
Fadel Haji, Erbil Traffic Directorate spokesperson told 964: “We will inaugurate a new vehicle inspection and testing center in Shekhan district [on August 13], and it is expected that this center will reduce the significant pressure on the inspection centers in Erbil.”
“Erbil governorate currently has five vehicle inspection centers, with three located in the city center, one in Koy Sanjaq, and one in Soran. The new center in Shekhan will become the sixth vehicle inspection center in the governorate.”
