New Babil provincial council members sworn in

BABIL, January 25 – Members of Babil’s provincial council were sworn in before Judge Muslim Mutaib, head of the Babil Appellate Court, on Thursday.

An official statement shared with 964media said, “Members of the elected Babil Provincial Council performed the legal oath today, Thursday, 1/25/2024, before the head of the Babil Appellate Court, Judge Muslim Mutaib, in accordance with the provisions of Article 29 of the Law of Governorates, number 21 for the year 2008.”

The head of the appellate court wished the new council members success in their roles and encouraged them to work toward improving the governorate and its services towards residents.
