Iraq’s central bank reports over $273 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Monday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, totaling more than $273 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 dinars per U.S. dollar.
According to the Central Bank’s data, internal cash withdrawals totaled $19,110,000. The total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, was $254,462,524. The total sales amounted to $273,572,524.
