Sulaymaniyah security agency announces drug seizure in Raparin district

SULAYMANIYAH, August 29 — The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) announced on Monday that security forces in Raparin district seized seven kilograms of hashish, as authorities across the country wage a comprehensive campaign against drug trafficking and usage.

According to the General Directorate of Security — Sulaymaniyah, a total of seven one-kilogram pieces of hashish were confiscated.

An investigation has been initiated under Article 26 of the Anti-Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
