Crash in Darbandikhan claims two lives

DARBANDIKHAN – A truck loaded with fruit and vegetables overturned in front of the Darbandikhan Tunnel, resulting in the deaths of the driver and a passenger, officials said.

Diyari Namiq, a traffic officer in Darbandikhan, told 964media that the accident occurred after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

Efforts to rescue the driver, who was trapped inside the vehicle, took several hours.
