Baghdad adopts import guidelines for modified vehicles for the disabled

BAGHDAD, August 9 — Iraqi officials approved a recommendation put forth by the Ministerial Council for Social Services on Tuesday regarding guidelines for importing modified vehicles for individuals with disabilities.

A statement from the government’s media office said:

Continuing its efforts to facilitate services for individuals with disabilities, the Cabinet has endorsed the recommendation of the Ministerial Council for Social Services (No. 23018/B) concerning the guidelines for importing modified vehicles for persons with disabilities. The import guidelines have been approved, taking into consideration the legal department’s observations within the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.
