Barzan environmentalists release wild goat back into nature
BARZAN, January 15 — The Barzan Environmental Protection Battalion has reintroduced a male wild goat into its natural habitat after receiving treatment.
The wild goat was found ill in recent days, and unable to move. The battalion rescued the animal after receiving word of a wild goat in distress.
Lieutenant Siddiq Hassan, the head of the battalion’s media relations department, informed 964media that the goat received treatment over two days.
Explaining the rationale behind the swift return to its habitat, Hassan stated, “The natural disposition of a wild animal dictates that prolonged proximity to humans can induce fear. Therefore, after these two days, we facilitated the return to its natural habitat.”
Siddiq highlighted the substantial population of wild goats in the Barzan area, emphasizing the protection provided by their environmental battalion.

He also mentioned that hunting is strictly prohibited in the area, and locals themselves tend to avoid hurting the wild animals.
