Al-Sudani receives invitation to world government summit in UAE

BAGHDAD, January 10 — On Wednesday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani received an invitation from the Crown Prince of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to participate in the 2024 World Government Summit.

Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani received the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Baghdad, Mr. Salem Al-Zaabi, on Wednesday afternoon.

Mr. Al-Zaabi conveyed the greetings of the UAE President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Dubai’s ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to Prime Minister Al-Sudani. He received an invitation from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid to participate in the 2024 World Government Summit, scheduled to take place in the UAE next February.

Prime Minister Al-Sudani affirmed the deep relationship between Iraq and the UAE, emphasizing the significance of the World Government Summit and its vital impact on delivering various services to citizens. He praised the UAE government for its leadership in the field of e-governance.
