Rafidain bank warns against dealing with unlicensed companies and fake pages

BAGHDAD, January 6 — On Friday, Rafidain Bank issued a warning to citizens, cautioning them against engaging with unlicensed companies, fake pages, or associations claiming to offer loans, facilities, and financial services through the Central Bank of Iraq or any banking entity.

Rafidain Bank cautions citizens against engaging with unlicensed companies, associations, and fake pages on social media platforms that falsely claim to retail goods or services. This warning extends to those claiming to offer loans, financial facilities, or any other service through the Central Bank of Iraq or any banking entity.

The bank urges customers not to collaborate with such entities, refrain from providing them with official documents or personal information, and report them to the relevant security authorities.

Furthermore, the bank emphasizes that its services are provided through its branches in Baghdad and governorates. The delivery of banking services and products occurs directly to customers and citizens through these branches.
