NINEVEH, HAMDANIYA, December 24 – A solemn Christmas Mass was held at Mar Behnam and Sarah Church in the town of Hamdaniya. This year’s Christmas Mass was marked by a somber tone, with the usual celebrations of Christmas and New Year’s being canceled out of respect for the victims of a recent tragedy at the Al-Haitham Hall wedding venue.
The Mass, attended by a reporter of 964media, focused solely on prayers and supplications for the souls of the victims, foregoing the usual festive elements.
