Duhok: Cancer survivor writes: “I Can”

DUHOK, December 24– Rozhhat Ibrahim, a 24-year-old resident of Duhok, shows unwavering determination in his battle against leukemia, a journey documented in his recently published book, “I Can.”

Having been diagnosed with leukemia in 2018, Ibrahim navigated a formidable path, resulting in a two-year hiatus from his studies. Faced with the absence of a specialized cancer facility in Duhok, he sought treatment at Hiwa Hospital in Sulaymaniyah.

In recounting the adversities posed by the disease, Ibrahim told 964media, “I didn’t give up and faced it.” Two years of resilience and steadfast determination later, he emerged victorious over cancer, with the publication of his book detailing the intricacies of his illness, the accompanying pain, and the stages of his triumphant recovery.
