Twenty arrested for election campaigning violations near polling stations in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, December 18 — The Baghdad Police Command in Al-Karkh arrested 20 individuals on Monday on charges of promoting and campaigning for candidates near polling centers, according to the Ministry of Interior’s spokesperson Muqdad Miri.

Miri stated, “The Baghdad Al-Karkh Police Command has arrested 20 individuals promoting election campaigns near polling centers in favor of some candidates.”
