BAGHDAD — Maysan, Basra and Dhi Qar are forecast to reach 50°C on Thursday, down from six governorates on Wednesday, with a chance of light isolated showers in parts of the Kurdistan Region, the Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology said.

Skies will generally be clear with some cloud at intervals, increasing at times in scattered areas. Visibility will range from 8 to 10 km, falling to 5 to 7 km in some central and southern areas because of haze and raised pollutant levels.
