Ministry of migration encourages displaced women to apply for interest-free project loans

BAGHDAD, November 25 — The Ministry of Migration urged displaced women returning to their original areas, responsible for their families, to apply for interest-free small project loans ranging from 20 to 50 million dinars.

The ministry stated in a statement, received by Network 964:

“As part of the launch of the 16 Days of Activism Against women Violence campaign, the Minister of Migration and Displaced, Mrs. Ivgin Faiq Jabro, initiated a campaign to support women responsible for their families within the ministry’s focus on income-generating projects under the title ‘Your Return, Life Returns.’ Mrs. Jabro called on returning women to their original areas in (Anbar, Mosul, Salahuddin, Diyala, Kirkuk) who are interested in registering for interest-free small income-generating project loans, totaling 100 loans. These loans, launched in collaboration and coordination with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, range from 20 to 50 million dinars. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply via the provided online link for a one-week period starting from today.”
