International Coalition Forces shoot down three drones at Erbil base

ERBIL, November 7 — International Coalition Forces thwarted a series of attacks on their base in Erbil in the early hours of Tuesday, shooting down three separate drones, according to Kurdish counter-terror authorities.

A statement released by the Kurdistan Counter-Terrorism Unit, said:

Erbil… Three drones attacked a military base of the international coalition against ISIS at separate times.

According to information from the Kurdistan Counter-Terrorism Unit, on November 7, 2023, two drones attacked the military base of the international coalition against the ISIS organization at Erbil International Airport, and the base managed to shoot them down.

In another attack in the same area earlier in the day, a drone was shot down without exploding.”
