Clear skies and mild temperatures across Iraq
BAGHDAD — Iraqi cities are experiencing clear to partly cloudy weather on Tuesday across all governorates, with relatively cold conditions in the morning and at night and mild temperatures during the day, according to the General Authority for Meteorology.
The agency said temperatures will remain similar to Monday’s readings, with a slight increase in some areas. “The weather will be clear with some clouds over the northern and southern regions and in parts of the central region at intervals,” the authority stated.
It added that “temperatures will remain close to those recorded yesterday, with a slight rise in some areas. The weather will stay relatively cold during morning and night hours, moderate during the day, and noticeably colder over mountainous areas.”
Northwesterly winds will be light to moderate, ranging between 10 and 20 kilometers per hour, “accompanied by periods of calm in the northern and western parts of the country,” the report said.
Horizontal visibility will range between 8 and 10 kilometers in most areas but may drop to 6 to 8 kilometers in the morning due to haze and higher air pollution levels, according to the authority.
