Two arrested over waste dumping from fuel factory in Sulaymaniyah

SULAYMANIYAH — The Arbat Forest and Environment Police have arrested two people accused of dumping waste from a fuel factory in the Tanjaro area, the Sulaymaniyah Forest and Environment Police Directorate said Tuesday.

The directorate said the pair were wanted by court order after allegedly discarding factory waste that caused environmental damage. Both were apprehended by the Arbat police station and remain under investigation, with legal measures pending.
