Sunny skies and dust expected across Iraq

BAGHDAD — Iraq’s Meteorological Authority forecasted hot summer weather with moderate nighttime temperatures across the country, especially in central and southern regions on Saturday, with increasing dust levels.

According to the daily weather report, a surface thermal low-pressure system continues to affect the country, maintaining hot daytime and moderate nighttime conditions in all cities, similar to yesterday, with a slight decrease in some cities.

Winds are expected to be moderate northwesterly, contributing to rising dust, especially in desert regions, where visibility may drop to between 4 and 6 kilometers.
