Child among three killed in rollover crash on Said Sadiq–Halabja road

SAID SADIQ – Three people, including a 7-year-old child, were killed Tuesday in a crash on the Said Sadiq–Halabja road near the village of Taparash, according to a local health official.

Barzan Khalid of Shaheed Shawkat General Hospital in Said Sadiq told 964media that the victims—two women and the child—were brought to the hospital following the rollover incident. “Due to an overturning incident on the Said Sadiq–Halabja road, the bodies of three individuals were brought to our hospital,” Khalid said.

A man in his 30s was also injured and is in serious condition. “He is currently receiving medical care and will be transferred to Sulaymaniyah for further treatment,” Khalid added.

The bodies of the deceased have been referred to the forensic department.
