Al-Sudani, Allawi discuss ‘coordinated efforts’ to bolster Iraq’s stability

BAGHDAD — Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani met with former interim Prime Minister and the leader of the National Coalition Ayad Allawi on Saturday to discuss economic reforms and development efforts, according to a statement from Al-Sudani’s media office. The talks also covered the importance of “coordinated efforts” to bolster Iraq’s security and stability.

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met today with former Prime Minister Mr. Ayad Allawi. The meeting focused on strengthening government efforts to advance economic reforms and sustain nationwide reconstruction and development initiatives that reflect the aspirations of the Iraqi people.

Discussions also addressed recent regional developments, with both sides emphasizing the need for coordinated efforts to support initiatives that enhance Iraq’s security and promote long-term stability.
