Sudani hosts Arab justice ministers and reiterates support for Palestine
BAGHDAD, October 16 — Prime Minister, Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, hosted a luncheon on Monday for the heads of delegations from Arab countries participating in the Arab Justice Ministers’ meeting, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
According to a statement from the Sudanese Prime Minister’s media office received by Network 964, it read:
“The Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani, met with Arab Justice Ministers participating in the 39th session of the Arab Justice Ministers’ Council, hosted in the capital, Baghdad.
His Excellency hosted a luncheon in honor of the participating delegations, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
He welcomed Iraq’s guests and commended their efforts in convening the Arab Justice Ministers’ Council meeting in Baghdad. He also praised the meeting’s outcomes, which contribute to enhancing Arab cooperation in the field of legal and judicial expertise exchange.
He emphasized Iraq’s desire to establish stronger relations with its Arab brethren, constructive collaboration in various fields, and joint efforts towards serving the causes and advancing Arab countries and the prosperity of their peoples.
During the meeting, Mr. Prime Minister reiterated Iraq’s steadfast and principled stance on the Palestinian issue, emphasizing that the systematic violations by the Zionist occupation in the occupied Palestinian territories require further joint Arab action to halt the brutal aggression that has targeted Palestinian civilians and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.”
