Four killed in high-speed crash near kirkuk

KIRKUK – Four members of the same family died Saturday evening when their Jeep Laredo overturned on a road near Kirkuk, according to eyewitnesses and traffic officials. The victims included both parents and two other family members, while a 13-year-old girl remains in critical condition.

Officials told 964media that the driver lost control of the vehicle due to high speed. The family was traveling from Erbil to Baghdad when the accident occurred.

Saman Yaba, media head for Kirkuk’s Health Directorate, said emergency responders have so far received one injured person, noting that her condition is critical.
