Security forces arrest man accused of torturing children over exam failure in Haditha
ANBAR, Iraq — Security forces in Haditha district, Anbar Governorate, arrested a man accused of torturing and electrocuting his children after they failed their midterm exams, according to a security source.
The source told 964media that the father carried out the act under the pretext of “discipline,” causing panic among family members and neighbors, who reported the incident to local authorities.
Security forces responded immediately by arresting the suspect, while the children were taken to receive medical care.
