New charitable clinic opens in Nasiriyah offering affordable care

DHI QAR — The Al-Rahma Charitable Medical Complex 5 has officially opened in Suq Al-Shuyukh in Nasiriyah, expanding the Al-Rahma Charity Association’s network to seven clinics across Iraq. The new facility offers a wide range of medical services, including internal medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, dentistry, and cosmetic procedures, along with laboratory testing and a pharmacy.

The clinic offers significantly reduced rates for its services. Consultations and ultrasound scans are priced at 3,000 dinars ($2), while teeth cleaning costs 5,000 dinars ($3.30). Discounts are also available on laboratory tests. The complex welcomes patients daily from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“We decided to visit after hearing about the initiative, which includes discounts and even free services,” said Kadhim Nayef, a patient at the clinic. “This is a great benefit for the public, and I saw many people seeking treatment.”

This facility marks Al-Rahma’s first expansion beyond Baghdad.

“The Al-Rahma 5 complex is part of our network of clinics in the capital,” said Isam Mohammed, the clinic’s director. “This is our first experience in the governorates, and we were fortunate to start in Suq Al-Shuyukh in Dhi Qar.” He added that the clinic is designed to provide specialized medical services at prices that help counter rising healthcare costs. “Consultations with doctors in internal medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, and dentistry, along with laboratory services and a pharmacy, are available at symbolic prices. A doctor’s consultation and ultrasound are both 3,000 dinars, while teeth cleaning is 5,000 dinars, and laboratory tests have additional discounts.”

Equipped with modern medical devices and advanced laboratory equipment, the clinic operates every day without holidays. “By the grace of God, we have opened Al-Rahma Clinic 5, one of seven across Iraq, providing affordable healthcare for all citizens,” said Mohammed Aryan, an administrative official at the complex. “Our services cost less than half of what other medical centers charge, and we hope they meet patient expectations.”
