Iraq central bank reports over $298 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Monday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $298 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per $1.
Total domestic cash withdrawals downs to $27,650,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $270,694,336, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $298,344,336.
