Iraq Central Bank reports over $269 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Wednesday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $269 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 dinars per $1.

According to the bank’s data, total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $12 million, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $257,128,473. The overall sales totaled $269,128,473.
